The GoldenPass is more than a journey - it's like nature cinema
The view from the GoldenPass Panoramic is like sitting in the front row of the movie theater. Through the large panoramic windows, the landscape leisurely passes you by like a nature cinema. It is a feast of colors: from Zweisimmen to Gstaad and Château-d'Oex with the brown of the chalets and alpine huts, in the background the white of the mountain peaks and glaciers, the lush green of the meadows and forests down through the vineyards to Montreux to the blue lake: Lac Léman.
The ride on the unique GoldenPass Belle Epoque is even more luxurious and gives you the feeling of luxury and travel of the 1930s. The special corner windows and the feudal upholstered chairs let you sink deep into the natural cinema. This Orient Express-style train operates year-round and daily and, like the GoldenPass Panoramic, is surcharge-free. Seat reservations are recommended. The varied journey on the MOB is part of the legendary GoldenPass Line Alpine connection from Lucerne to Interlaken and Montreux.
GoldenPass Express
Since 11 December 2022, the GoldenPass Express has supplemented the service on this route between Montreux and Interlaken. You can choose one of the three travel classes on board this modern and comfortable train. In addition to 2nd and 1st class, the Prestige travel class offers swivel seats that allow you to always sit facing the direction of travel and provide unparalleled comfort. A gastronomic offer with regional products, is available on the GoldenPass Express journey Seat reservation is highly recommended in 1st and 2nd class and mandatory in Prestige travel class.
