Adelboden - Tschentenalp

The local mountain of Adelboden offers visitors a wonderful mountain panorama from the Niesen to the Plaine Morte weather surveillance radar station. Particularly impressive is the view of the Wildstrubel Massif and Engstligen Falls.

It takes just 5 minutes by gondola cableway from the village centre to Tschenten Alp and you can enjoy the magnificent mountain landscape (even without walking boots). Needless to say, it's also well worth making the climb on foot. There are various diverting hiking trails, which do however demand a certain basic level of fitness.

Either way, a fine lunch or z Vieri (coffee) on the sunny panoramic terrace of the Tschentenalp Restaurant will be the highpoint of your excursion. Enjoy your visit here.
