Isenfluh - Sulwald

The little, traditional mountain village of Isenfluh lies in a gorgeous spot above Lauterbrunnen and offers a magical panorama of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. The village lies off the main tourist trails and has a charm all of its own. Pristine countryside with particular geological conditions and living culture await you here. Isenfluh lies at 1,085 metres and Sulwald, which you can reach on foot or with the aerial cableway, is at 1,520 metres.

Aerial cableway: the small, almost nostalgic cableway has existed since 1975 and can accommodate eight people or one cow – it is a special kind of "little cableway", linked in with life at that location.

Hiking: Isenfluh and Sulwald are the starting points of countless hiking trails, here is a selection: Sulwald-Lobhornhütte approx. 1½ hours – Isenfluh-Grütschalp approx. 1½ hours – Sulwald-Chüebodmi-Soustal approx. 1 hour – Isenfluh-Sulwald mountain trail approx. 1¼ hours – Entire themed trail approx. 3½ hours
